Pricing questions

Per deal or subscription — which should I pick?

Per deal works if you evaluate 1–3 deals at a time and want pay-as-you-go. Starter is better at $40+ deals/year (breakeven is ~17 deals/year vs per-deal). If you're an active searcher hitting SearchFunder daily, Starter or Professional is the better unit economics.

What happens after my 14-day pilot?

Nothing automatic. We never charge a card you didn't enter. At day 14 you'll see a prompt to pick a plan if you want to keep using Duey. If you don't, your account becomes read-only — your deals stay accessible, but new uploads pause until you subscribe.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is annual billing actually cheaper?

15% off any monthly plan. If you're confident you'll use Duey for 3+ months, annual pays off. We don't lock you in — cancel anytime, refund the unused months.

What's the OCR page limit?

We cap OCR (Claude Vision) usage per plan because each scanned page has a real API cost. Native PDFs (most modern tax software output) don't count against this — only scanned/photographed documents need OCR. You'll hit the limit only if you upload many low-quality scans.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. Email duey@duey.cc within 30 days of any charge and we'll refund it, no questions asked. We'd rather you not pay for something that didn't deliver value.

Try it on a sample deal first

Every account starts with the Acme Services LLC sample — real-looking financials, an SDE calculation, add-backs and red flags already populated. See Duey work before uploading anything of your own.

Duey is a pre-QoE screening tool, not a substitute for professional Quality of Earnings reports or legal advice.
